The daughter of a fashion stalwart, Alyce’s mother has run a successful boutique for the last 20 years in regional Beechworth. With fashion running thick in her veins, Alyce cut her teeth in the fashion industry as employee, before filling a niche in Port Melbourne for quality fashion labels that transcend the season. “I’d lived in Port Melbourne for five years before opening Laine. I knew the market well and saw a real need for a boutique that offered quality, affordable pieces that would last several seasons.”

Known for their race wear collection, September sees Laine stock over 70 dress styles for the upcoming racing season.
